Event Details

4th Annual "Just Irish Enough" Parade in Lagrange Park!! benefitting the St. Baldrick's Foundation for Children with Cancer. Come one come all...We are walking on the sidewalks through Lagrange Park, IL on Saturday, March 12th at 12:00pm to celebrate St. Patrick's Day!!! We will begin on the 600 block of Newberry Ave. in Lagrange Park and end on the 600 block of Newberry Ave. (Parade route 15 minutes). The head shaving festivities will begin at 2pm. All of the day's festivities should conclude around 4:30-5:00pm. Soft Drinks & Food will be provided for a small cost. If you would like to make a "Sweet" donation to the bake sale, please contact Chrissy Cmelo at chrissyandjay@sbcglobal.net... For Parade T-Shirt orders, please contact Megan McCarthy at meganbmccarthy@sbcglobal.net...(T-Shirts are $15) If you plan on bringing alcoholic beverages to the block party, please keep them on the 600 Block in your possession. Alcoholic Beverages are not allowed on parade route!! This is a block party. Respect the neighbors while on the parade route and on the 600 block of Newberry Ave. Over the past 3 years...our block party/parade has raised over $65,000 for pediatric cancer research. Thank you to everyone who has donated and shaved their heads in order to walk in solidarity with children who battle cancer. If anyone should have any questions or concerns, please contact Jim McCarthy at jim@mccarthytrans.com.. There is no inclement weather date. We will shave heads in the garages of the 600 Block of Newberry homes if necessary.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research.
