Imagine saving lives just by shaving your head; transform your look while transforming the world.
St. Baldrick's, a non-profit, provides monetary support for childhood cancer research through a fundraising campaign which raises money off the promise of people going bald. Participants, namely 'shavees', pledge to shave their heads completely, and get monetary donations from friends and family to support their decision to go bald. We recognize that for most people, going bald is a huge commitment, but by giving up your hair you are giving others a second chance at life.
Keep in mind, hair grows back and your new look will represent compassion, sacrifice, and support for those who are fighting cancer. After raising the initial donation to go bald, your good deed will continue to show, spreading awareness about childhood cancer wherever you go, even as your hair regrows!
Brave the Shave; Join the battle by going bald!
Whether you decide to shave your head, support a friend who is, or just donate, join us April 19th (6pm) in Lehigh University's Lamberton Hall to help spread awareness and fundraise for this heroic cause.
Get involved with our event to join the fight against childhood cancer and be a hero to those in need.
See, you there!
