Childhood Cancer Canada was kind enough to give me a generous grant this school year and I'd like to repay them by organizing this head shaving event. All the proceeds from the event stay in Canada to fund pediatric oncology research in the country. I'd like also to show my enormous gratitude to the staff at the McMaster Childrens Hospital. They are the most hardworking, kind and skilled group of people I have ever met. Through my treatment they all showed such genuine compassion to the patients and their families. That hospital is an incredible place and I am so, so happy that I had the privilege to get to know the doctors and nurses there.
