Event Details

Dear Loyola Staff, Organizations, and Leaders My name is Patrick Hogan from the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity at Loyola University Chicago. I am currently coordinating our 3rd annual St. Baldrick's Day philanthropy event and would like to see you or your organization possibly get involved in this great opportunity. Last year we raised close to $8,000 and with your help, we can raise even more this year! The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises money for childhood cancer research. The mission of the St. Baldrick's Foundation is to raise awareness and funds to Conquer Kids' Cancer by shaving heads on St. Baldrick's Day. Hair loss is a common part of the chemotherapy treatment for cancer patients and this event allows people to show support to those in need. In order to raise money, participants seek donations from friends and family and then get their head shaved at the event. You can easily donate online, or in person at the event! Our event will take place on Tuesday March 25th from 5:00 PM ?? 9:00PM on the Loyola Chicago campus. The event location is Centennial Forum Student Union (CFSU), located at 1125 W. Loyola Avenue at the corner of N. Sheridan Road. We will be having free food, music, and a raffle, and it is sure to be a good time. This year we are also featuring local musical entertainment and a world-renowned Hypnotist on the main-stage at 7:00PM. We thank the Student Activity Fund for giving us the opportunity to bring them to campus. If you have any questions check out the website or feel free to email me at phogan@luc.edu. My cell phone number is 773.383.2815. Thanks, and help us spread the word for this great event! St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
