The Student Osteopathic Medical Association of A.T. Still University and the Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity of Truman State University will be hosting a Kirksville community St. Baldrick's Fundraiser on Saturday, March 29, 2015. This year’s theme is: BE BOLD, BE BALD. While cancer is the leading cause of disease-related death in children, there is little federal funding to support research. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-driven entity that conducts this much-needed research and funds clinical trials for pediatric cancer. In March of each year, individuals raise money and shave their heads in support at events across the nation. This year we invite the community, university faculty, staff, students, families, and friends to not only volunteer to shave your head (or osteostache), but also an option to donate 10 inches of hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths!
