Be a hero for kids with cancer! Join this St. Baldrick's event, and wether you decide to shave your head, donate your hair, or volunteer, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement. Cancer is the #1 disease killer of kids and young adults in the United States. Every 2 minutes another kid is diagnosed with cancer. Its hard to believe kids can have cancer. We want kids to be kids. Kids take for granted being able to go to school and play sports. Kids with cancer at times don't even get out of their room or hospital bed. They don't get many visitors or see friends in order to avoid the risk of getting sick. Have you ever considered what it might take to help save someone's life? The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any other organization except the U. S. goverment. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
