Be a hero for kids with cancer!
Welcome to the event page for the first ever French International School St. Baldrick's Event!
This year we are aiming to raise a total of roughly $90,000 HKD, displayed as $11,500USD on the site, for childhood cancer research.
Well done to the junior disco team who have already raised an astounding sum of HKD5,300 through ticket sales and the winter concert candy cane team who raised a further HKD980! In addition to them, other events will also be taking place during kindness week and the days leading up to it in order to raise even more money towards this worthwhile cause such as a bake sale and the sponsored walk.
15 brave volunteers, including 2 teachers, have signed up to have their heads shaved for the cause!
If you wish to sponsor one of these participants please donate by any of the following three ways:
1/ through this website by credit card, VISA, MasterCard or American Express.
2/ cash donations directly to the participant in an envelope marked with donation amount, your name, and the name of person you are sponsoring
3/ see donation form on this website for cheques payable to Children's Cancer Foundation and place in an envelope again marked with the name of who you are sponsoring then hand to Mr. Williams or Mrs. Hall at school
All students and teachers please feel free to come and show your support and join in to watch the head shaving take place!
It will be happening over the course of the first two lunches (11:30-12:30) on Tuesday the 13th of February, and will be held in the Student Room, on the 7th floor outside the canteen.
Thank you to the team from W52 HAIR.NAIL hair salon for volunteering to do the shaving on the day!
The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-powered charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Although St. Baldrick's is a US-based charity the money raised will go to their local partner here the Children's Cancer Foundation. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
