On August 9th members of The Boston Cannons will be stepping up to Child Cancers and shaving their heads to raise money in support of the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Cannons owner Rob Hale has pledged $1k for every fan that participates in the pregame shave! Fans can participate by signing up their own fundraising effort and pledging to get shaved before the game and the Top fundraisers will be invited to join players in a special ceremony held on field during the Team Awards presentation.
Childhood cancers deserve their own support and no youngster should be faced with such challenges when they should be out playing on a field. During the average MLL game 40 kids will be diagnosed with cancer, help support them by donating or making your own pledge today to Go Bald and Step Up to conquer kids cancer.
