Event Details

We will shave heads at the American Legion Hall Marne Post #13 located on Renwick Road just a mile west of Route 59. Head shaving will begin at 11:00 AM and will finish at 4:00 PM. The American Legion Hall is big, lots of tables and chairs and the site has plenty of parking. We will have food for sale (pizza, hot dogs, and pulled pork sandwiches along with chips and homemade bakery items), a cash bar and a live auction.

This year the theme for all St. Baldrick's events is ROCK THE BALD, so we are fortunate to have a rock band, SATURDAY'S KNIGHTS, who play 50/60's music of many big name bands of that era. They will play throughout the entire event. Join us to get your head shaved and if the music moves you get out there and dance along.

Please remember why all our efforts are so important...Worldwide, 175,000 children are diagnosed with cancer each year. And in the U.S., more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease including AIDS, asthma, cystic fibrosis, congenital anomalies and diabetes combined. Last year we raised $40,000 and this year our goal is $50,000.

    Saturday's Knights is a rock band playing hits from the 50's and early 60's. Temptations, Beach Boys, Danny and the Juniors, The Beatles, Chubby Checker and more. Bring clean socks and join the SOCK HOP!!!

  • 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM

    Head Shaving, form a team and join us at the rocking St. Baldrick's event. We will be shaving heads from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM while listening to the sweet sounds of Saturday's Knights.

    Join us at the rocking head shaving event and bid on many items we will be auctioning that day. We can also buy pizza, hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches and drinks.
