We celebrate the life and legacy of Patrick McNamara at our annual Pat Mac Day. On this day, we unite to shave heads, cut hair, and raise money to support the St. Baldrick's Foundation and their fight against pediatric cancer. The first St. Baldrick’s event at St. Barnabas School was in 2011. Since then, we have raised over $600,000 for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation!
How you to support St. Baldrick's Foundation in honor of Pat Mac Day:
1) DONATE to the Pat Mac Team - contribute to the St. Barnabas School St. Baldricks Team or search for an individual team member and donate to their specific participant fundraising page.
2) JOIN US as a shave or trim participant.
If shaving or trimming hair, the minimum fundraising amount is $75. After registering for the event, use your personalized fundraising page to share with friends and family and help us meet our goal of $50,000! All participants are required to have a signed waiver. Print, complete, and return to school. Attn: Main Office - St. Baldrick's Waiver by Wednesday, March 4 at 8am.
“We are - Pat Mac’s Pack!”
Patrick McNamara, the young St. Barnabas student with a heart of gold, showed our community that young children can change the world. Diagnosed at age 2 with a brain tumor, Patrick and his family spent 11 years searching and fighting for a cure. Patrick inspired everyone around him through his unyielding humor, positivity, and determination.
