Event Name: Hulstrom K8 Spring Carnival & St. Baldrick’s Event
Date: FRIDAY, APRIL 25th, 2025
Carnival Time: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM; "Brave the Shave" around 7:30pm!
GOAL: Raise $500 to fight childhood cancer!
Event Overview:
Join us for a fun-filled time at the Hulstrom K8 Spring Carnival—now with a special twist! This year, we’re teaming up with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation for an unforgettable event that will bring our school community together for a great cause. We’ll have all the classic carnival games, delicious food, and exciting activities, but the highlight of the evening will be the Brave the Shave challenge.
CULMINATING EVENT: MARK GRABHORN BRAVES THE SHAVE!
Mark Grabhorn will be cutting it close by shaving his head LIVE at the event, and we want YOU to be there for the shear excitement! It’s a bald move, but Mr. Grabhorn's ready to show his support for childhood cancer research, and you can join him in shearing off those locks in solidarity! We would LOVE to have a few more brave souls willing to join him in solidarity! Will you brave the shave?
That's right. Mr. Grabhorn is going to shave that luxurious mane to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer research through the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. He's committed to shaving his head live at the spring carnival to show his support for this important cause, and you can be part of the action too! Let's raise $500 so that we can get a chance to run a clipper through that mane of his!
How You Can Get Involved:
-
Brave the Shave: Want to join Mark and shave your head in solidarity? Sign up to participate in the Brave the Shave event! You’ll be helping raise funds to support St. Baldrick’s research for childhood cancers.
-
Donate: If shaving your head isn’t your thing, you can still support the cause! Donate to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation through our event fundraising page and help us reach our goal.
-
Enjoy the Carnival: Don’t miss out on all the carnival fun! Enjoy games, face painting, food trucks, bouncy houses, and more—all while supporting a great cause.
Special Shout-Out: A HUGE shoutout to Rhonda Hoehne, our volunteer clipper extraordinaire! And another HUGE shout-out to Sports Clips, who partners with St. Baldrick's to help coordinate trained and licensed "clipper" volunteers!
