Sixth Annual Cleveland Heights Head-Shaving Event!

Be brave, be bold, be BALD. Cleveland Heights will host its sixth annual St. Baldrick's head-shaving at the Cleveland Heights Community Center on Sunday, March 19, 2017. Men, women and especially children are welcome to join us for this very important and very special event, as we attempt to raise more than $100,000 for all the children battling cancer today and all those who will battle it in the future. We welcome shavees of all ages (and have had some as young as 3!), and also offer the option for girls and women to cut and donate their hair instead of shaving. You must be willing to cut at least 6 inches of hair, including grey and color-treated, to choose this route. Please edit the message on your Participant Page to explain what you're doing before asking for donations. This event is held in memory of Fairfax kindergartner Rebecca Meyer who passed away on her sixth birthday in 2014 due to a brain tumor and in honor of Fairfax 4th grader and two-time cancer survivor Austin Gallagher, who will become a Knight of the Bald Table this year. You have the power to give parents hope, to give doctors medical breakthroughs, and to give kids the futures they deserve. Join us.
