Welcome to St. Baldrick’s 2016! 10 years ago, Joey and I hosted the inaugural St. Baldrick’s event, dubbed “Bill and Joey’s Excellent Shaving Adventure.” In the years since the first event in 2007, there have been 111 St. Baldrick’s events, 3,786 participants and over $6.6 million dollars raised! Childhood cancer is an insidious disease that terrifies the parent in all of us. As each grown up takes his or her place in the chairs and offers their hair to the barbers, we’re all reminded of the blessings in our own lives. The support, excitement, and generosity given year after year from our ever involved partners, customers, and alliances has blown me away. Newly sheered volunteers become walking billboards, further raising awareness for the cause. By participating in this event, we are raising funds to give to some of the most brilliant childhood cancer research experts in the world to find cures and improve the quality of life for patients and survivors. Thank you for helping us shave the way to conquering kid’s cancer!
