8th Annual Barrels Goes Bald Shave Event
Join us for a day of fun, community, and a whole lot of shaved heads — all to help conquer kids’ cancer.
At Barrels Taphouse & Grill, we believe when a community comes together, big things happen. That’s exactly what this event is about. Every year we gather friends, families, customers, and local businesses to stand with kids who are facing the toughest fight of their lives.
Childhood cancer doesn’t get the research funding it deserves. While survival rates have improved, thousands of children are still diagnosed every year, and many treatments are outdated and extremely harsh. Kids deserve better — better treatments, better outcomes, and better chances to grow up and live full lives.
That’s why we proudly host Barrels Goes Bald in support of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants.
When someone sits in the chair and shaves their head, it’s more than just losing hair. It’s a powerful show of solidarity with children fighting cancer, many of whom lose their hair during treatment. It’s a way of saying “You’re not fighting alone.”
Every dollar raised helps fund life-saving research that leads to new treatments and cures.
