Dear Heroes,
 
It is with a heavy heart and an abundance of caution for the safety of the participants and their supporters that I am announcing that the B-R Conquer Kids’ Cancer Event will not take place on March 20, 2020 at Eisenhower Intermediate School.   The event will become virtual with you still being able to fundraise.  Please consider having your head shaved or hair cut at a local salon and then posting a picture of your new hairdo online. 
 
I will send out dates and times for you to come to my home to pick-up you National St. Baldrick’s shirt.
 
I am working with your team of volunteers to hold the basket auction in an online format.  An email on that will follow within the next few days. 
 
I am sincerely sorry that the event is not going forward as planned. Please do not become discouraged.  You are heroes. You sacrifice your time and hair to help children with cancer.  Never stop being selfless.
