We are back for the third edition of our ASH Community St. Baldrick's Event. This is a special year as we celebrate two ASH students who have completed their treatment at Princess Maxima Center, our local partner which receives 85% of our donations. Please see our Honored Kid section below for more information about these two amazing people.
This event was started in 2024 in memory of our colleague and friend, Sarah Segal and continues in both her memory and the memory of another colleague and friend, Megan Yonkey. These women dedicated their lives to working with students and we honor them as we join together to help fight childhood cancer.
At our event, you'll see people shave their heads to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, who typically lose their hair during treatment. Others will cut their hair and donate it to make wigs for those who lose their hair. But most importantly, we'll do this to raise funds for childhood cancer research.
Worldwide, more than 160,000 children are diagnosed with cancer each year. The St. Baldrick's Foundation partners with organizations around the world to fund childhood cancer research. We're proud to be doing our part to give kids with cancer a better chance for a cure. Please join us!
Please sign up to participate, choose a participant to support, or donate to our event as a whole by clicking “Make a Donation” above. When you make a donation, be sure to ask your employer if they will match your contribution.
