I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Kerr

My friend has cancer and has lost her hair and I can do nothing about it. If I just shave my head in solidarity, it seems a little militant and dramatic. So...I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. My little cousin, Isabelle, is living proof that this money is well spent! I'm aiming to raise $1000 -- Hey! I have a beautiful head of hair! It's got to be worth something! There will be pictures and everything! Between now and the day of the shave, I'm going to play with some color and stuff. There will be pictures of that, too. So...Are you with me? My friend (I'll call her Jane) will be having more chemo and stem-cell transplant while I am doing this fund-raiser. I'm going to be one of her team of at-home caregivers once she is released from hospital. I know she will feel greatly cheered at watching those numbers go up! up! up! What a wonderful thing you will be doing!
