Cub Scout Pack 199 is hosting their annual St. Baldrick's Event and we would love for you to join us! You can shave your head in exchange for donations, you can be a volunteer the night of the event, you can make a donation to another brave head or simply come out and celebrate with us that evening. There will be hair flying, music playing and raffle baskets to be won. Super Duper Weenie will be available for dinner and the girl scouts have several sweets to offer you for dessert. There will be games, face paint, tattoos and for those of you who keep your hair - we have hair extensions in fun colors!
Our St. Baldrick's event was a day that brought great joy to Teddy Gerber. To honor Teddy's valiant fight, we will all be members of Team Teddy on March 23. Our hope is to raise funds for pediatric cancer research so other children have the fighting chance that Teddy didn't.
Participants in a St. Baldrick’s event shave their heads in exchange for donations towards research. It’s a simple concept, a fun time and a very effective fundraiser. The Foundation funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. One in five kids diagnosed with cancer will not survive and that is simply one too many.
