My name is Sarah Shapiro and I am a proud momma of two beautiful boys. My babies are my everything and my reason for living. As a parent, when my children are hurting or sick I would take the pain on myself in a heart beat to alleviate theirs. Unfortunately, life doesn't work that way and we have to watch our children suffer through ear infections, colds and stomach bugs. But can you imagine watching your baby endure chemotherapy, hair loss, weight loss or even dying before you? I can't. My babies are healthy but so many children are not. 175,000 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and it is the leading killer of children in the United States and Canada. I will be donating my hair to Locks of Love and then shaving my head in honor of all the children fighting for their lives.
