In less than 2 weeks I will be shaving my head. That day I will be taken back in time to September 6, 2007. The day I was told my 3 year old daughter had cancer. The days following were such a blur of surgery, chemo, a list of meds I had never heard of, ng-tubes, vomiting, hair loss, chest tubes, and more.

The things I have learned since that day break my heart. Our children need more research to find a cure and to have that cure not leave them with a lifetime of side effects. I chose to support the St. Baldrick's Foundation because they solely support childhood cancer and use their funds wisely in determining what reserach to fund.
