I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Praying for Carolyn

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

I have been a volunteer at Give Kids the World in Kissimmee, FL each week since 2002. The village is where Wish Children and there families stay while on a Wish Vacation in central Florida. Carolyn just touched my heart even though I have never met her and she lives 450 miles away. I have been following her for 6 months on FB and felt I needed to help.

I have only shaved my beard once since leaving the Marine Corps in 1983 and never my head. The one time was in about 1992 when my daughter Katie was about 10 years old. She took one look at me and said she wasn't going to kiss me until it grew back. I haven't shaved it since and Katie passed away on Christmas Day 1999.

I am currently letting everything grow and will shave it ALL for Carolyn on June 22nd in Pensacola.
