I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Cary VFW Post 7383

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help!

This year in addition to honoring the kids who are still fighting cancer, I once again honor Chad Melzer, the son of a friend of mine who lost his fight against childhood cancer many years ago. I am also honoring Blaise McNair, a 12 year old boy from West End, NC who lost his battle with DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma), a ruthless brain-stem cancer, on January 3, 2014.
