I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Peachy Keens

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Peachy Keens

We did it! The 46 Mommas Shave for the Brave raised ONE MILLION DOLLARS for the St. Baldrick's Foundation and childhood cancer research! And now, it's time to celebrate - Texas-style, y'all! I'm thrilled to be a part of the leadership team that's bringing the Mommas to San Antonio for our fourth national shave, and I can't wait to see an army of beautiful bald heads storming the Alamo City. We'll be looking back at the past three years of fundraising and looking forward to the future of this unstoppable team of amazing women. And with the creation of its Pediatric Cancer Dream Team with Stand Up To Cancer, we know that St. Baldrick's is our greatest ally in this battle for cures and safer, less toxic treatments for our children. The St. Baldrick's Foundation funds more childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government, so your generous donation will not only benefit my brave warrior, Georgia Lee, but all kids in the fight against childhood cancers, now and in the future. While I am so thankful that Georgia soundly and decidedly kicked leukemia's butt (one year ago!), I know that this is a lifelong journey. So for her, and for the 46 kids diagnosed every weekday, I will continue to raise awareness, hope, and funds for childhood cancer research - and I hope you'll join me. Thank you!
