I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

This will be the third year that I have shaved my head to raise money for childhood cancer research. When I became involved with Saint Baldrick's my mom was a 30 year breast cancer survivor and my niece, Jennifer, had non-hodgkin's lymphoma. My nephew Tommy has now been diagnosed with non-hodgkin's lymphoma and his mom is battling cervical cancer. My hair grew in well this year, really curly. For a hot minute I thought about keeping my curly locks, but when you see all the people battling this disease, I couldn't be that selfish. I am hoping to raise lot of money this year, because I am tired of hearing about kids having to dealing with cancer and all that that means. I am tired of hearing about families being beaten down by cancer. I want to find a cure for this disease before it can do more damage to my family. Please be as generous as possible and together we will find a cure. Thanks ahead of time for your generosity.

My Roles:

  • Shavee
  • Treasurer
