I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Yep, I'm gonna do this. Why? Because this is an important cause and a bold statement of support for cancer research. Am I scared to lose my hair? Yep, but I bet I am not half as scared as those who lost their hair through chemotherapy. I admire those folks and I want to show my support for their battle. Where does the money go? To research - a crucial part of finding a cure so that others do not have to suffer. A coworker said to me "Do you even know any kids who have cancer?" And, thankfully, no, I do not. His response "Well, if it is not personal to you, why do you want to do this?" And I said " Not having been personally touched by childhood cancer IS my reason for doing this. I don't want to wait until it happens to me or mine, I want to act now." C'mon, guys... help me with this!

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
