I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I am a proud mother of two beautiful children who are my entire world. I have lost several family members to cancer, but I can't imagine what it would be like to fight the battle with one of my children. I want to participate in this not only because it means something to me personally, but to also let the families who are going through this know they are not alone. March 12th marks the day my grandmother lost her courageous battle and was taken from us. I choose this day to remember and honor her, but to also remind myself that there is still a war with cancer outside my door. Cancer is so sad, but it's even sadder when it's claiming the lives of children... children who are never given the chance to experience life.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
