I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Why'd I do this? Several reasons - 1) It is up to all of us to make sure we are helping out others 2) It is a very worthy cause 3) EVERYONE has been affected by cancer in some way, we should ALL work together to beat it 4) I wanted to teach my son, Cooper, the importance of Charity. Yeah, he's just turning 4, but it is something that is important to us as a family, and we wanted to instill that lesson in him. So yeah, I'll have a funny looking shaved head, but at the end of the day we will have raised money for a good cause, had a lot of fun, and I will have helped my son understand what it means to give back, and why it is important. And when you ask, "Yeah, but does he get it, does he REALLY get it?" My answer is that everyday he comes home asking when we are going to shave our heads for sick kids. And he asks it before he asks if he can play video games... Yeah, he gets it, So help him out.
