My Story

Axel is a spunky 5 year old who loves Star Wars, legos, army guys, and Scooby Doo. He was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic leukemia at the age of 3 1/2. Axel tolerates chemo really well, and fortunately has not been in the hospital for more than a year. He goes to physical and occupational therapy to work through side effects of his chemo. Axel goes to clinic once a month for chemo in his port, and takes 1-5 pills every day. He'll finish treatment on January 24, 2014. He has a big brother, Carter, who is 8, and twin baby sisters, Ruby and Hazel, who are 15 months old.
