In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. For the past 2 years, the Hofstra Roller Hockey Team has tried to help children with this terrible disease by raising money to help support research and increase awareness for this cause. At the conclusion of the fundraiser, the members of the team along with friends and family will shave their heads in solidarity with those who typically lose their hair during treatment.
