Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

National Partner

Sarah's Soldiers

Sarah Boss was 7 year old girl. She was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma in September of 2006. Sarah's tumor was about the size of an egg and was directly behind her right eye and spreads to a few different areas of the skull. It is a rare cancer with only just over 300 cases a year being diagnosed in the US each year. Sarah passed quietly at home on November 18th 2007. The courage Sarah showed during her fight was nothing less than inspiring and is admired by all whom have been touched by Sarah. Her short life has truly touched so many people in so many positive ways; Sarah continues to live on in our hearts.
