Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

National Partner

Brent's Warriors

Join us for Brent's Warriors St. Baldrick's celebration! It's a fundraiser to fight childhood cancer and it's surprisingly FUN. In these challenging economic times, cancer does not stop and your efforts go even further. Many thanks for considering the cause.

The St. Baldricks Foundation raises awareness and funds to fight childhood cancer. While battling cancer, children lose not only their hair but also years of their childhood, and sometimes their lives. Participants in a St. Baldricks event shave their heads in exchange for donations towards research. Its a simple concept, a fun time and a very effective fundraiser - since its founding in 2000, the St. Baldrick's Foundation has raised over $ 50 million with headshavings in 18 countries, and shaved over 72,000 heads. Our team, Brent's Warriors, is comprised of Wilton High School student athletes started in 2007 for Brent Logan McCreesh, a child diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma at age two-and-a-half. After several rounds of chemotherapy and radiation, Brent is now seven and cancer free. For our first two years we participated with the Fairfield based TeamBrent, but due to the success of our Wilton offshoot we were able to expand into our own event last year. On March 18th, we will be hosting our second shaving event in the Wilton High School cafeteria. Let's raise awareness and money and have some fun. Come get your head shaved, or just watch. Either way please do celebrate with us...and watch the hair fly!
