WE are Joel Strong!

We are shaving our heads to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So we decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now we need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.  Will you sign up to shave at the event? All of this to stand in solidarity with kids fighting the toughest fight of all...childhood cancer.

Team Joel Strong is comprised of the community of family, friends, and loved ones that have poured out support for little Joel Traverse and his family of mother Kim, father Tom, and sister Nora.  Joel was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in September 2018.  Through multiple rounds of chemo,  a handful of surgeries, and disease relapses, Joel has shown the grit, heart, and inspired spirit that truly exemplifies the character of St. Baldrick's Honored Kids.

You are making a difference in the lives of our children who are facing the scariest and meanest monster of all. With your support, kids all over the country are one step closer to beating this and becoming cancer-free!

Thank you for supporting Joel and all of these wonderful kids! Let's take childhood back from cancer!
