Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

National Partner

Golden Knights

Cancer is one of the most frightening words that a person can ever hear, now imagine being a child and hearing this word. While it is certainly is frightening for a child it can be that much more breath-taking for a parent to hear.

Here at the Golden Knights we have had cancer hit close to home, over the course of the past year our team captain, Newell Field has battled with cancer. Newell has gone through multiple surgeries as well as 12 weeks of chemotherapy. Fortunately Newell has been blessed and won his fight but not all are so fortunate. The driving force behind the Golden Knights charge to raise money to fight these awful cancers is our team angel, Beydn Swink. Beydn's father, Joshua Swink is a well-respected, knowledgeable, and selfless teacher and mentor to the young Army ROTC cadets whom make up our team and program. To read more about Beydn and his story please click on his link below to read his story written by his father. Please help us do everything we can to knock out this awful disease, every amount counts!
