The Triangle Area is helping conquer kids' cancer
Radius Search
Since 2004, the Triangle Area St. Baldrick’s head-shaving events have raised over $14.3 million for childhood cancer research!
The St. Baldrick’s Foundation has funded over $314 million in childhood cancer research grants, more than any other organization except the U.S. government. Many of these grants fund research in North Carolina, including research at Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center, Wake Forest University Health Sciences, and other local institutions. These grants help give more kids access to clinical trials, which are often their best hope for a cure, train the next generation of pediatric oncologists, and fund specific childhood cancer research projects.
