Since 2004, the Triangle Area St. Baldrick’s head-shaving events have raised over $14.8 million for childhood cancer research!

The St. Baldrick’s Foundation has granted over $340 million to support the most promising research, making it the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants in the U.S. and around the world. Many of these grants fund research in North Carolina, including research at Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center, Wake Forest University Health Sciences, and other local institutions. These grants help give more kids access to clinical trials, which are often their best hope for a cure, train the next generation of pediatric oncologists, and fund specific childhood cancer research projects.
