LOS ANGELES (March 1, 2022) – The St. Baldrick’s Foundation issues the following statement in response to President Joe Biden’s State of the Union Address on March 1, 2022:

The St. Baldrick’s Foundation, the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, thanks President Biden for his ongoing commitment to cancer research, as outlined in tonight’s State of the Union Address. The Cancer Moonshot, along with other key federal childhood cancer initiatives like the Childhood Cancer STAR Act and the Childhood Cancer Data Initiative, has the potential to transform the childhood cancer research landscape to give new hope to kids fighting cancer and childhood cancer survivors.
