I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U. S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.

This is my 11th year shaving in support of St. Baldrick's, and until this year, haven't known anyone affected by childhood cancer. Now I do - my friend Kim's teenaged nephew is battling Hodgkins Lymphoma. This makes it personal and thus even more important to me to do my little part to help out.

Because this will have to be a virtual event due to the coronavirus pandemic, I'll do to do a livestream via Zoom of my "Big Shave" from start to finish. I hope you'll be able to join me and will send the link to family, friends, and donors as the date gets closer.

So now I need your support in any amount. Every donation helps to fund research so kids with cancer can survive and thrive. Join me today and let's #DFYchildhoodCancers together.
