This year I'll starting a new journey fighting childhood cancer with my new school District Cato-Meridian. We'll be hosting our own event because we recently learned one of our colleagues and fellow teacher's son was diagnosed with cancer this past year. To show support for him and his family I'll be shaving my head for a seventh year. Please help me with this really important cause because every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.
