I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I am raising money for childhood cancer research! Every day, 42 children are diagnosed with some form of cancer in the United States. 7 more pass away. It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

On March 19th, I will shave my head in solidarity with thousands of young people who will lose their hair from chemotherapy treatments this year. Why am I getting my head shaved for this? Because I have a choice. Children who are diagnosed with cancer and go through chemotherapy, often don't. I want to show them that they aren't fighting alone. If losing my hair helps just ONE, it was more than worth it!

Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. When you give to St. Baldrick’s, you don’t just give to one institution–you give to more than 372 institutions that are treating kids with cancer across the U.S. and beyond. It’s a ripple effect that can change the world.

HUGE Thank you to everyone who helped me reach my initial goal of $300, as well as my second goal of $500. You are all AWESOME! Every penny helps, so please keep sharing and donating!
