I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

As most of you know, in 2014, my daughter was diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia called AML. Approximately 50% of kids diagnosed with this form of cancer do not survive and those that do carry lifelong side effects. Mary Stewart went into remission for 20 months, but in 2016 she relapsed and was back in the hospital. Doctors only gave her a 10-20% chance of survival at that point.

We are now 3 years and 3 months in remission! Many families have lost their battle with AML and many more will be diagnosed in the coming months and years.

St. Balderick's does a great job of raising money for pediatric cancer research. This is the only way we will cure this disease and give parents and kids hope for survival.

I hope you will join me in fighting pediatric cancer. Every dollar we raise counts so thank you in advance!
