I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Alburtis Bald Eagles

I'm raising money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. My why(s): My first year as an elementary school principal a very special young man came into my life. Parker was an energetic, vibrant, charismatic 5 year old kindergartner in my school who was fighting the battle of his life. Parker had cancer. He brought so many smiles and so much joy into our school each and every day. Our hearts broke when Parker's remission ended and our world changed forever when this terrible disease took him from us. He will remain in our hearts forever. Clara, a sweet, bright eyes, strong willed silly little pumpkin is the daughter of a 3rd grade Alburtis teacher. While Clara is currently cancer free, this amazing young lady fought a battle like none other when she was just 2 years old. The hope that Clara represents for thousands of children and their families is powerful! Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
