I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

One of my favorite introductory lines in rap history is when Joey Badass said, “I’d catch all the diseases in the world so that the world won’t have anymore diseases.” If possible, I would. My aunt is a breast cancer survivor and I witnessed her struggle and it was extremely difficult. I could only imagine how much children with cancer go through. We are talking about the future of this world.

I am honoring Michael Romano not only because our mutual love for hot dogs with cheese and sauerkraut and football, but because his smile would melt your heart. Despite his struggle, he maintained his head high with a smile on his face. Many people do not realize the impact that a simple smile can have on somebody’s day.  His smile must have brightened up the mood of many people. We have to remain positive through our distress.

I am proud to honor raise awareness for Michael and all of those who are suffereing from childhood cancer May he rest in peace, an angel whose strength I will never match.

We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
