I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

SHARE SHARE SHARE So I have already committed to shaving my head once and it was for multiple reasons. A lot of people asked me if I shaved my hair to raise awareness for something and my answer was no not exactly I just did it as a statement to say that your hair isn’t what makes you beautiful. So I guess in a way I hopefully could have inspired others to realize that and encourage people who may be sick and didn’t choose to shave their heads that they aren’t any less themselves without their hair! Well an opportunity has come up for me to join an event in shaving my hair off again in honor of children battling cancer. Along with shaving my hair, I’ll be raising money for the St. Baldricks foundation. So even if you aren’t someone that can participate in shaving your hair, you can show your support in other ways like donating in any amount! I have set a fairly reachable goal of $500 for the St. Baldricks foundation and would love the support of my friends and family on here to help donate towards such a wonderful cause. Also save this date in your calendars September 29, 2018 from 12:00-6:00pm @ Finnigans Wake, Downtown W-S, so you can come support and watch what I am sure to be a very uplifting and humbling moment for all that are involved. Thanks in advance to everyone that chooses to donate.
