For the past several years at the NAMIC Annual Convention, I along with fellow attendees have witnessed generous men and women step up to “brave the shave” to raise money for childhood cancer research. Instead of being a bystander, this year I have volunteered to shave my head to raise money for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
Please join me for this fun gathering on Tuesday, September 25th at 2pm in the Marketplace for Mutuals to support St. Baldrick’s commitment to funding promising research, finding cures for childhood cancers and giving survivors long, healthy lives. More children are lost to cancer in the U.S. than any other childhood diseases combined. St. Baldrick’s works closely with leading pediatric oncologists to help determine the most promising research and create funding priorities to make the greatest impact for children with cancer.
I have been blessed. As a father and grandfather, I can’t imagine what parents go through when they receive the news that their child has cancer. Kids with cancer are the reason and inspiration behind this event. Please join me for this amazing event that truly brings out the best in everyone involved.
