I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I have decided to shave my head again because recently we lost 2 beautiful fighters within the same week and their stories were very close to my heart. This cause is very important to me because children should not be dying. They are our future. They deserve to have a childhood and grow up. Childhood cancer is extremely underfunded. The NCI only gives 3.8% to pediatric cancer. That’s not even 4 cents to every dollar. Kids diagnosed with cancer endure so much with chemo. It’s harsh and the effects are dangerous. A lot of the time it’s the harshness of the treatments is what kills kids. If the child becomes cancer free they have life long effects of chemo. Some life threatening. We need more funding to find safer treatments for these kids. So please join me in this fight.
