I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
I am again raising money for childhood cancer research as part of St. Baldrick’s. I have shaved my head 7 times to raise money but admittedly, that no longer feels like much of a sacrifice. So, I decided to raise the stakes--this year I will sport a Mohawk until I reach my fundraising goal. Yes, I will go to work like this. I am hoping it will prompt a lot of questions so I can explain why I am doing this and how others can help. As a parent, I cannot imagine having to watch my child battle cancer. This is my way of showing unity and helping contribute to finding a cure. I would appreciate your support. Donations will help fund a researcher to discover cures and preventions.
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least seven years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
