I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Hello,
My name is Sean Kelly and this is my third year participating in Saint Baldricks. I was first introduced to this charity by my math teacher sophomore year, she herself had just fought cancer and was the one to bring the charitable event to my school. I must admit, having devoted myself to the task of growing out a mullet (much to my parent's dismay) I was apprehensive at first. That apprehension was broken after visiting the Saint Baldricks website and reading the stories compiled there. It was stories like that of Patrick J. W. Nolan that compelled me and so many others to raise the funds we did that year and the following year to fight childhood cancer.
Im not morally superior in any way because of what I've done, just because I was willing to shave and others were not, means nothing. Each and every one of us contributes to our fellow man in our own way. If I had shaved my head alone It would have been a pointless gesture as no funds would have been raised, if it were only me and the generous donors the gesture would again be pointless as there would be no research and relief organizations to donate the funds to.
In recognition of this I hope that nobody who visits this page feels compelled to donate out of guilt, but instead with inspiration borrowed from those who fought childhood cancer, donates within there means whatever that may be.
Thank you,
-Sean Edward Kelly
