I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

It was painful enough for me to lose my father to cancer. I don't want to imagine the pain of a parent losing their child to cancer. Soon after my father died, my mother said, "We need to do something to stop this damn disease." (She used a word stronger than damn, but you get the idea). I'm participating in this fundraiser in loving memory of my father, David Marvin Prass, z"l; I'm doing this in celebration of my 2 children who loved spending time with their Zayde (the picture on my profile is of the 3 of them); I'm doing this in celebration of my 1 child who never met him. I'm doing this in support of everyone who sees the beautiful potential in a child. And I'm doing this for all who want to stop this "damn disease" from taking that child away from their loved ones too soon.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
