I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Year #9 of going bald for a cure.  Liam & I have done this together as father & son, 8 times, every year since 2010.

YOU are the real hero!  You have helped us raise $29,100 since 2010 in the past eight years.  You helped us last year in 2017 raise $7,400 - a crazy, astounding new personal record of fundraising for me & Liam.  You can help us pass last year's efforts and hit our new goal of $7,500.  THANK YOU!  Your kindness & contribution will help us fund new CURES for pediatric cancers.

Bald for a cure!  This year on Saturday, April 7, at Austin's Saloon in Libertyville is our event.  Over the years I have gone from a regular "shavee" to now being the DJ, helping emcee the event, and usually being one of the Top 3 fundraisers each year at our Libertyville event.  My four kids are healthy, happy, fun and crazy.  We luckily have zero health issues in our immediate family, but truly recognize that other children (and some in our own kids' schools) have had to fight cancer and go through serious medical treatment over the years.  Kids don't deserve to have their childhood interrupted by this awful, intense, horrible disease called cancer.   We raise money to help fight for a cure.  Your efforts to help us are much appreciated and help create a brighter tomorrow.

St. Baldrick's is an amazing volunteer-driven organization that raises more money for oncology-research grants that any other organization in the country (other than the United States government).  They help discover new medicines & treatments for a cure!

More children are lost to cancer in the U.S. than any other disease—in fact, more than many other childhood diseases combined.  Before they turn 20, about 1 in 285 children in the U.S. will have cancer.

Now I need your help!  Will you make a donation?  Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
