I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Newman

I'm going under the shears to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers?  It's true.  And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded.  So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help!  Will you make a donation?  Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

In addition to looking for some generous donors to meet my own personal fundraising goal, we are looking for 30 plus shaves and event volunteers.  Please consider being a shavee or donating your time or other resources.

As a means of helping to reach (hopefully exceed) my fundraising goal of $3,000, my family will personally be matching donations up to $500.  I have also received pledged support of the Scott Richards North Star Charitable Foundation (http://www.northstarfinancial.com/foundation) to match my personal donation, as well as those donations from any employee or affiliate of North Star Resource Group up to $500.

Donations are one way to give, but you can also become a shavee, volunteer to promote our event and recruit shavees, help during our event on May 19th, and/or just be present at the event.  Please help us get the word out and share with anyone whom you think may be interested.

Follow and share our journey and help to make this event successful!

Thanks for your generosity!
