I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Knuckleheads

As you probably know by now, I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! The shave is in 3 days and I'm running out of time to help this noble cause. At 1:00 pm Sunday, I with my Knucklehead teammates and other participant's at O'Loughlin's Restaurant, will have our heads shaven. Between today, Friday, March 2nd, 10:00 am and then, 51 hours, over 1500 more kids will be diagnosed with cancer! Let that sink in for a minute, every hour, 30 more kids are diagnosed, every day, 720 more kids, every week over 5,000! It's staggering and sobering! This is why we are doing this!

My nephew is one of these affected kids. Thankfully, he was diagnosed early, research funded in part with efforts like this, aided in his early detection and treatment, and he is in remission. Sadly, for our honoree, Joey, that wasn't this case and he now watches our efforts with the angels. How many more?

Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So we decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Thanks for your consideration and hopefully, your donation! CANCERSUCKS!!!!!
